Victoria Bowman
Victoria was born and raised in Atlanta,
Georgia where she first encountered the healthcare profession
at Emory University Hospital while volunteering as a candy
striper. Victoria attended Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia
with dreams of becoming a commercial artist and is now an
accomplished painter who has won numerous blue ribbons for
her artwork. She was married to Ralph Martin Bowman of Bowman
Transportation for 28 years before he passed away. Victoria
moved to Franklin twenty-three years ago attracted by the
bucolic countryside and the friendly atmosphere of a small
town.
Victoria is a consummate volunteer who is President and
lifetime member of the Federated Franklin Women’s
Club which is part of the General Federation of Women's
Clubs, one of the world's largest and oldest nondenominational,
nonpartisan, international volunteer service organization

and for years she was a member of the Angel Medical Center
Auxiliary. Victoria is a charter member of the Century Club

The future of Angel Medical Center is of keen interest to
Victoria. “I want to help improve our community hospital
by improving staff skills, and acquiring the most up-to-date
equipment. I see my role as an advocate for Angel Medical
Center letting people know that this is our hospital.”
