Volunteering: Angel Medical Center Auxiliary
The auxiliary is a volunteer organization comprised of local
residents supporting the Hospital’s purpose by performing
various tasks
In order to permit medical personnel to focus more time on
providing superior patient care.
Our mission is to further Angel Medical Center’s purpose
to care for the sick and to assist in the community health
program. Angel Medical Center’s volunteers add to the
quality of patient care by helping patients, patient’s
families and the hospital staff. We make a difference by offering
a smile, comforting words and compassion.

• Gift Shop
• Thrift Shop
• Outpatient Medicine
• Rehabilitation Services
• Business or Medical Records
• Same Day Surgery
• Many other opportunities
Who can be a Volunteer?
Residents of the Greater Franklin area who are from all
walks of life, experiences and skill sets, who prefer maintaining
an active life through community service. Must be 18 years
or older.
What kind of commitment do you have to make?
Most shifts are 4 hours once a week or more frequently if
desired.
How do I become a Volunteer?
Fill out an application. Applications are available at the
lobby reception desk, inquire with a volunteer, by calling
the Volunteer office at 828-369-4267 or by clicking on the

Application. Once the application is completed and returned
we will schedule an interview to discuss your area of interest.
