Emergency Care Services

We at Angel Medical Center’s Emergency Care Center are here to serve the citizens and visitors of Western North Carolina in our state designated Level II Emergency Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When patients with serious medical problems or injuries come to our new state-of-the-art facility they are treated by a dedicated team of experienced nurses, physicians and other health care professionals. We work closely with our county Emergency Medical System who evaluate, stabilize and transport patients to our facility. We have physician specialists available 24 hours a day in addition to a full range of laboratory and radiological testing ability. Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (S.A.N.E.) are also available at our Emergency Department.

Angel Medical Center is an affiliate of Mission St. Joe Health Care System located in Asheville, North Carolina.

Hours: Staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week with professional nurses and physicians.
