Tracy Gihl, Treasurer
Tracy has a wealth of experience when it
comes to crunching numbers. After graduating from the University
of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,
Tracy began her career with the Audit Firm of KPMG in Atlanta
where she worked with numerous Fortune 500 clients. She
was hired by Schlumberger Industries in their US headquarters
as a Senior Tax Accountant and was responsible for US Tax
Compliance in all fifty states. Her next position as Controller
with United Insurance companies, Inc. helped prepare Tracy
for her position as Controller with Angel Medical Center
in 1997. She was promoted to the Chief Financial Officer
of Angel Medical Center in 2006 after having served one
year as the interim CFO. Tracy is active with her daughter’s
Elementary School PTO where she uses her expertise to serve
as Treasurer. Dedication to making her community stronger
is evidenced by her involvement in the school system as
well as her job with Angel Medical Center.
“After living in Atlanta for 12 years, I feel very
blessed to have been able to return to the mountains where
I grew up. Living in Atlanta made me appreciate small town
life. I care deeply for the area and feel that access to
healthcare is vital to any community. Angel Medical Center’s
success is vital to this community and its residents.”
Tracy looks forward to the time she spends with her family
and her daughter, Jordan who shares her mother’s interest
in theatre and dance.
