Our mission is to provide the highest quality
hospice and palliative care to our patients, their families
and our community.
Our Philosophy
Angel Hospice and Palliative Care is committed to providing
the very best hospice support and care for patients with life
threatening illnesses. With a focus on pain and symptom control,
along with emotional and spiritual support, our goal is to
see that our patients might live as fully and comfortably
as possible.
The family of each patient also receives our devoted attention
to emotional and spiritual support, as well as bereavement
care.
Our Team
The Angel Hospice Team is a group of dedicated individuals
with many different skills. We work together with the patient
and family to develop and implement a complete plan of hospice
care.
Our Services for the Patient and Family
• Pain management and symptom control that allows the
patient to remain as pain free and comfortable as possible.
• Physical, emotional, social and spiritual support
and counseling to meet the needs of the patient and family.
• In-home aide services to provide for the bathing,
grooming, dressing and homemaking needs of the patient.
• Physical, speech and occupational therapies as needed
to allow the patient to remain as self-sufficient as possible.
• Continuous care at home for short periods during times
of crisis.
• Total team care management incorporating all members
of the hospice team in order to provide the most comprehensive
care for the patient and family.
• Bereavement counseling for the family for up to one
year following the death of their loved one.
• Available on-call nursing support 24 hours a day,
seven days a week.
Funding for Hospice
Angel Hospice and Palliative Care is a Medicare certified
hospice. Medicare,
Medicaid and some private insurance companies provide payment
for hospice care. Additional funding is provided by civic
groups, churches and individual donations.

Our Volunteers
Volunteers are a key element of the Hospice program. Each
person brings a unique style, set of skills and experiences
which greatly enhance the Hospice program. Upon completion
of extensive training, volunteers may choose one or more of
the following areas of service:
