Computed
Tomography (CT)
Computed Tomography is a modality in the Radiology Department
that combines xrays with state of the art computer technology
to produce “cross sectional” pictures of the body.
The images produced from this system can show vascular structures,
organs, bones and tissues.
Angel Medical Center has the latest technology available
on the market today. We currently have a sixteen-slice CT
scanner that takes images quickly. Some procedures take only
a couple of minutes to scan in trauma situations.
Our Radiology Department is proud to have three registered
Computed Tomography Technologists and a Radiologist who is
highly skilled in CT.
