Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

The Radiology Department at Angel Medical Center has a new onsite 1.5T Philips MRI magnet. This state of the art equipment is able to perform scans quickly. MRIs are now available Monday through Friday.

An MRI scan is also known as Magnetic Resonance Imaging Test. This machine uses magnetic energy to image the body. There is no radiation involved in this test.

An MRI questionnaire will be given to you before your test begins. This form must be completely filled out by you to determine if any contraindications exist for the procedure. If you have metal clips or other implanted structures, you may not be able to have the test. Please click on the link to view the MRI questionnaire. You can print off this form at home and bring it with you if you like.
