Nuclear
Medicine
Nuclear Medicine is a modality in the Radiology Department
that images portions of the body using computer technology
to detect energy emitted from radioactive substances given
to the patient, either intravenously or by mouth.
The Nuclear Medicine Department at Angel Medical Center has
an Adac Forte Nuclear Medicine Camera ran by 2 highly trained
nuclear medicine technologists. We are able to perform a variety
of procedures ranging from cardiac to bones.
