Abdomen
Overview-
An abdominal radiograph looks at portions of your abdomen.
It can show the radiologist and your physician abnormal bowel
patterns or kidney stones.
Preparation-
There is no preparation needed.
Length of exam-
This exam will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
How is the exam performed?
You will be asked to remove any type of metal or zippers from
the abdominal area. You may need to put on a gown. You will
lay down on the xray table and the technologist will position
the xray tube over your abdomen.
Results-
Please contact your physician for the results of your test.
The results will be available within a couple of days.
