Radiographic
Chest
Overview-
A chest radiograph looks at portions of your chest. It can
show the radiologist and your physician problems with your
lungs.
Preparation-
There is no preparation needed.
Length of exam-
This exam will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
How is the exam performed?
You will be asked to remove any type of metal or zippers from
the chest area. You will be asked to put on a gown. The technologist
will position you in front of the upright chest board and
take two images of your chest.
Results-
Please contact your physician for the results of your test.
The results will be available within a couple of days.
