Radiographic
Head
Overview-
A spine radiograph looks at portions of your head. It can
show the radiologist and your physician problems with your
skull or facial bones.
Preparation-
There is no preparation needed.
Length of exam-
This exam will take approximately 15 minutes.
How is the exam performed?
You will be asked to remove any jewelry or metal objects from
your head. The technologist will position you several ways
to take different views of your skull or facial bones.
Results-
Please contact your physician for the results of your test.
The results will be available within a couple of days.
