Ultrasound

The Ultrasound Department at Angel Medical Center has two state of the art Acuson Sequoia ultrasound machines and a Parks Vascular Flo Lab. These machines have the latest tissue enhancing and reconstruction features on the market today. The staff at Angel Medical Center are highly skilled and are registered by the ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnositic Medical Sonographers).

Ultrasound is a part of the Radiology Department that uses sound waves to create an image of the organs in the body without using radiation.

Many studies have been done with ultrasound since its development in the late 1950’s. It is a proven and safe technique.
